Yep, another disturbance happened last night. Goodbye Honda!!!!!

Well, it had to happen. After just a short period of having a honda ST1300 it becasme evident that it was by no means a beemer. It was quite clear that the beemers are in a class all by themselves and for rightfull reason. Soooo, I picked up a new bike last night. Pics to come up soon....

Well, my biggest issue with the ST has been the suspension. It just plain will never ride as smooth as a stock beemer, let alone a beemer with Ohlins. I would use the term, rides like a truck. It ran out of ground clearance in a hurry as well. It still had alot little irritations and I could never get use to japanese turn signal controls.

Maybe I'm all washed up here but I "thought" under California law used vehicles had to have at least 50% of their tire tread and brakes pads to be sold by a licensed dealer. Maybe it was a consignment bike and it doesn't apply?

Sorry, let me clarify, I did not buy this from A&S. The previous owner bought the bike from A&S and the accesories. Sorry for the confusion.

Re: Yep, another disturbance happened last night. Goodbye Honda!!!!!

I am pretty excited about this bike. I am going to be taking it over to A&S soon to have the 24k miles service done, get the brakes flushed, final drive oil changed and a new tire soon. Then it should be ready for some miles.

I may have them take the intercom unit and sirrius satelite radio off as well to sell it. I have no need for an intercom unit. Althought, i was playing with the sirrius radio today and noticed they have playboy radio.

Get TKC knobbies slapped on that sucker and "go where no RT has gone before". After all, its just a fancy GS, sort of.

Congrats.

Thanks for the idea there Doug but one of the reasons for getting away from my GS is I dont ride on the dirt. Its all pavement.
