Beemer Bash - Quincy

Anyone else heading up to the Beemer Bash this weekend? http://www.ccbr.org/bash.htm

Seems we've always had a group go up but nothing posted this year. Cathy and I are going up Saturday morning and staying at the Gold Pan Motel coming back on Sunday. This will be Cathys first Motorcyle event and ride over 100 miles.

See Ya on the road.

No go this year, I have to give the city a few more days. Next year Kay & I will probably make it, though. In fact next year I might swallow some stupid pills and volunteer to put the RCB poker run together again.

But you all have fun on this one.

On the road to wreck, and ruin - but making great time.

Re: Beemer Bash - Quincy

You should try this place next time in Quincy. Quite the quaint little Mom and Pop establishment. http://redcabins.hypermart.net/pricesheet.html or perhaps this four star option which is a nice 25 mile run to the east on Hwy 70. http://www.chaletviewlodge.com/accommodations.html

We'll be out on a looong weekend ride up north. http://www.expressoriders.org/interest.htm

Everybody ride safe, play nice, and run a set of twisties for Dell this weekend.

Re: Beemer Bash - Quincy

Rode there on Friday, two up on the 1150GS with my wife Chris on the back and Dino on his 950 KTM via 49 through Downieville. The Wife and I Camped two nights at the fairgrounds. Had a nice day day ride yesterday around antelope lake ending up in Susanville for lunch and returning via 36 to the east side of alminor and back to Quincy.

Today, after a good breakfast with Dino and family and Ted in Graegle (thanks, Dino) we came home via Bucks lake and Oroville.

Nice to see all who showed up! A good time was had by all.
