Southern Disturbance

Not quite sure how this works.

Does it happen when one gets the urge to buy? When the deposit goes down? Or when the bike gets delivered?

Pics to follow...

Nice '02 GS for sale soon.

Re: Southern Disturbance

Congrats!! I've been drooling over the Tiger but with a RT (mine) and a ST (hers) it looks like the puddle will be pretty large before one comes along.
Enjoy and ride safe

Re: Southern Disturbance

Shucks Larry, I thought you were still drooling over my Multistrada!

So many nice bikes, so little room in my garage. GS, KTM, Tiger, Multi, Ulysses, etc. - how does one choose?

I went for red.

Congrats on the Tiger. Looking forward to the ride report.

Finally...

OK, so I have been wanting something a little lighter than the GS for a while. I have come to realize that probably 95% of my riding these days is weekend jaunts around the hills above Malibu or something similar and I am carrying around a lot of stuff that I really don't need. So, I got a Tiger 1050. This is a really fun bike. Smooth engine with plenty of power, upright seating position and decent wind protection with the stock screen. Still have to figure out how to mount the radar detector and GPS and add some type of soft luggage.

Re: Southern Disturbance

Lookin good Jim...Enjoy it! You may want to look into the RKA luggage, the wife and I are using the In-Charge tankbags for communication, sat radio etc. Also using seat and rack bags from them and they carry allot of stuff and aren't nearly as bulky as the large topcase. Good people to deal with also. Don't mean to sound like a advertisement but I like their stuff. Website is here. www.rka-luggage.com

Ride safe..enjoy

Thanks for the reminder. They make great stuff. Had their liner bags for my RT and LT. I think I'll call them and see what they can come up with for soft luggage. The high pipe is a bit of problem.
