Posi Taps in Sac?

Does anyone know where I can buy some of these, I am about to install a fuseblock on Jessica's bike and might need some.

The places I can think of that MIGHT have them:

HSC Electronics, Auburn @ College Oak
Metro Electronics, J @ 18th or 19th I think, near Spaghetti Factory
Lehr Auto Electric, off Bus 80 around N near Alhambra

"The staff of HSC Sacramento have bought the store as of January 25, 2008, and will be reopening it under the name HFE Electronics. The HSC headquarters in Santa Clara, as well as Rohnert Park HSC, remain open. However, both remaining locations are more warehouse-like than the Sacramento store, and do not have the same friendly atmosphere, though their selections are probably more extensive. "

Re: Posi Taps in Sac?

Well none of the places listed have them (or have even heard of them) but I did find some at Napa Auto Parts on Fulton, but it's a very limited selection.

Re: Posi Taps in Sac?

I found a good selection at O'Reilly Auto Parts. Pleasant surprise.

Posi-taps are really neat.

If you can't find them, send me a PM. I might have a couple left in the toolbox.

They are good. They came with my Hyper Lites, and they are a superior device.

Re: Posi Taps in Sac?

Try this place, they seem to have everything, but there may be large minimum orders, or high prices.

Re: Posi Taps in Sac?

I don't know if it's the same as the local HiLine Electric but I will check both Monday. I would like to have an assortment for anytime I need them. I have everything wired I need know except the fuse block I am installing calls for an in-line fuse so I will need to figure out the best way to add that. Posi Lock does make a nice product I wish I had...

I looked at their site and didn't see them. I have a Centech AP-1 I bought for $50.00 plus shipping, and it looks like I won't be using it as planned. If you want to cash me out of it, it is available.

Re: Posi Taps in Sac?

I already have a Fuzeblock which is a very cool setup because they have a built in relay. It's all installed and ready to roll, just need the inline fuse.

Re: Posi Taps in Sac?

In case anyone needs a Posi-Tap, Posi-Twist or Posi-Splice in a pinch, I ordered an assortment directly from the company and have them in stock in my garage.
