Can't let them Texicans win!

It might be too early to start a discussion about CCR attendance (given the HDDC's tendency to not make a decision until the day before!) but I couldn't help notice that we were only 5 folks behind the Texicans and there are several Nor Cal (and So Cal) notables not registered! I don't know when the list was last updated on the CCR web site but here's the current list of Californians:

Bob & Barbara Bacon; Bryan & Charlene Black; Bruce & Debbie Elkind; Jim Ferraccioli & Denise Reilley; Dell Fields; John Flowers; Mark Griner & Vickie Griner; Gilles Guezille & Kathy Carlson; Brian & Renna Hall; Doug Holck; Thomas & Barbara Hooper; Carl & Ingrid Kloppenborg; Raffy Kouyoumdjian; Tom & Kay Lashbrook; Stephen & Mia Lionbarger; Brian & Beverley Louw; Ken Meese & Dayle Dermatis; Larry Morris; Bob & Jeanie Morrow; Jim & Marianne Prosser; Robert & Terri Rasters; Gerry & Rona Renstrom; John Richardson; Vernon Shrader & Robin Lee; James Smith; David Taylor; Duane Taylor & Sheila Reilly; Bill Turner & Nancy "BillysDaisy" Reading; Robert Weir & Debbie Dreon

Hey, we're even closer this year than those South Central guys!

Who else is coming?

Even if we've lost, we've still won. PHHHHHHBBBBBTTTT.

You can't lose getting to go to CCR. Those of you K-K-K-K-Kalifornia folks that have never been, it's like a fambly reunion with a bunch of the best bikes you'll ever see in one place.

I'll second what Grif said. It's just about the most fun you can have for 5 days with your clothes on. Seriously, from what I can tell from the area and some of the ride routes suggested, this is likely to be one of the best CCRs from a riding perspective. From what I can tell you could do a 300+ mile loop every day and practically never touch the same road, and be in the twisties haveing a ball the entire time!

Re: Can't let them Texicans win!

I know of at least another four California riders wth strong plans to go but have not registered as yet due to unsettled vacation scheduling at work. I would say they are about 90% at this point. And, another 5-6 still trying to get the time off and/or making up their mind.

I anticipate about 20 from EXR by the time we pull the clutches in to go.
