Mission Accomplished, and Bear Gulch Visitor Center too.

Incredible scenery today, started out about 8AM, light and intermittent rain, down to the Pinnacles, then on to the mission inside fort hunter ligget for the River City Beemers ride to nowhere.

Cool comfortable riding weather, clouds and flowers, major contrast. Hiway 25 from the Pinacles to the entrance of the fort is a real pleasure to ride.

500+ miles in a bit over 12 hours.

What a great ride.

Cool, Dan

Kay and I are planning on bagging the mission on April 11. We'll be down in Pacific Grove for a BK event that weekend, the ride to Hunter-Leggett should make a nice day ride. Probably ride out Carmel Valley Rd.

Did you have any problems getting on the post?

Mary and I did the Morro Bay, Ft. Leggett, Pinnacles trip yesterday and today as well. Great Week end. When you go to the Fort, be sure that you have your DL, reg. and proof of Ins. They will not let you on the post with out them.

Nope. As Philbert said, you need ID, Vehicle Reg and CURRENT certificate of insurance.

We also caught a few passes.

Nope - Tom and I are just in it for the challenge and to make sure nobody can say it can't be done. Besides I really enjoy any road to Nowhere.
I heard you were spotted in the Pope Valley area today taking pictures.
