Talking The Big-ASS Chicken Run or Shredder and Uncle Deano Ride for Pie

Not wanting to waste such a beautiful day watching the idiot box, we took a little dual-sport ride today.

Clear skies and only slightly damp roads.

Sutter Ione Rd

I lost count at 15 water crossings today

Deano spends some time with "Lunch"

Nice easy gravel road along the creek

They don't tolerate no trespassin' in these here parts

There is a fabulous new place in Volcano. Did I mention the main menu item??

There was snow, but not on the roads

You never know what you're gonna find when you take a wrong turn

Short stop in Shenandoah Valley to buy Mrs Schumacher some wine

That place is owned by a friend of my wife's, Janet. YUMM, GOOD FOOD! We take a drive up there to eat often.

Looks like a great day guys!

If you aren't good for anything else, you can always serve as a bad example.

Yes, Janet was there and served up the pie. She bakes them up herself

Damn good deal too. Pie, ice cream and coffee for $4.75

I'll be going back soon...

Looks like fun, and I hope you got home in time for probably one of the, if not the best Super Bowl ever.

I recorded it. I'm sort of watching it while I'm on the computer. I haven't watched a football game in five years so it's really not that interesting to me...

Sorry you didn't come with us today, was a cool ride. You're in luck though. We're gonna do the same basic route for the Gold Country Dual Sport Ride later in the Month.
