That would be a fun summer ride! Eat and get gas. Err, I mean they are building a Chevron at the same location too...

My first job ever was as a carhop at a Sonic Drive-in in my hometown in Arkansas. That could be closer to me than the next nearest one currently is, which is in Merced.

Already one of those gas station/Sonic combos on North Sunrise in Roseville with another free standing drive-in location to open on Pleasant Grove in the next couple months. There's been a sign for one in Natomas at Gateway and Truxel for a couple years but nothing under construction yet. I also seem to remember seeing one in Yuba City the last time we ran through there. They seem to be putting more of them in the central valley south of Stockton along 99 than up here.

Actually, I don't know what all the hubbub is about. The food is OK but its not like it's a "Dog and Suds" after all. Ride to Napa and not go to the Red Rock or further up to Taylor's or Buster's? Are the pickins getting slim, Tom?

Sonic in Tracy

David, it's only 55 miles to Tracy, better than the two hours to Merced. PM me when you come over and we will meet you there.

EXR is doing a ride this Saturday with lunch at Taylor's. I know one rider that really likes the seared Ahi sandwich with a chocolate shake!

Probably arrive around 1130. Not your average "burger joint."

That Ahi burger is pricey but well worth it; pretty goddam good.

I start the graveyard shift Thursday night. --- at a 10% shift differential increase for my last highest year in CalPER$, I can't say no.

But I do have Saturday off. I might just meet you all there.
