Thumbs up CCR is less than 2 months away!!

In case you hadn't noticed, it's only 56 days to CCR! It's shaping up to be a great time at a fun location, not to mention you have a chance to win a brand new motorcycle to boot! There will be plenty of stuff to do between rides, tech sessions, vendors, bands, banquets, charity auctions, and other extracurricular activities (Booze Brothers, for example ). And most importantly and fun, meeting up with old friends and making a whole bunch of new ones!

If you're still thinking about it and haven't signed up yet, it's time to get off the fence and get registered! There are a limited number of registrations remaining so grab you one today!

Route 66?

I've been thinking about getting to CCR via most of the old Route 66. Just a quick ride down to LA to the start. There's a few books on the remaining route artifacts. It might add a bit of time to the trip but what memories...

Then to end it all with a few days and great friends at Tan-Tar-A, riding, relaxing, and a little more riding.

Yep, I think that's what I'll do.

Cheers!

I was thinking of taking Hwy 50 all the way to Dodge City Kanas - I've always wanted to stay in Dodge City ever since I saw my first episode of Gunsmoke!
Then take Hwy 54 the rest of the way to Tan Tar.

I was thinking about 50 to 70 then cutting south on backroads through MO to get there. I like Bob's idea of Route 66, but I don't have enough time to do that the way I would want to.

Bob - has anyone Iron-Butted 66 yet? More importantly, is there anyplace out here to replace Baconized tires and other parts?
