Newbie Owner

Just thought I'd toss a post on here. I'm a new BMW k1200lt rider. I was out of the bikes for quite a few years and got back into them on a Kawasaki Vulcan 2000lt. Took it to Colorado Springs and back about two weeks ago. By the time I returned I decided I enjoyed the distance touring. The Kawai just didn't have the capacity or the ammenities that I wanted so traded it in for my first BMW m/c. Love the bike. I'm heading for Canada (Jasper, Lake Louise, Banff) June 14th with a another BMW rider buddy. Anyone with suggestions of where to go and what to see would be welcome, it's my first time above Vancover BC.
I live in the Mather area and would be interested in any riders that may be coming up....Frank

Welcome, Frank! If you're ever down in the Central Contra Costa area on a Wednesday night, we have a "SAWDOG" dinner, though not as regular as HDDC!

Actually, SAWDOG and HDDC are pretty interchangable, except the geographic location of the dinners. Sometimes it's a little to difficult for us to make the distant HDDC dinners, though when they're in the Delta, it's a bit easier!
