Moi...

I ended up trading the Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 quad cab CTD LWB for an '07 Ram 1500 4x4 quad cab SWB with the 5.7 Hemi MDS.

Going home I got 17.1 mpg at 68 mph for the 40 or so miles.

Hi Steve:

I have no brand loyalty when it comes to trucks.

Pick up trucks: 4 Fords (150, 250 x 2, 350), 1 Chevy (C-10 '65), 1 GMC (3500), and 2 Dodges (3500 and now 1500).

Throw in 2 Ford Broncos, a GMC Yukon and a Chevy Suburban.

I look for the best deal financially as long as it meets the requirements.

No problem Raffy, I was just harrassing Hal about wanting pictures posted. And after reading Doug's post, I see Hal was just wanting pictures posted of his old truck.

It has the Multi Displacement System. Drops it to 4 cylinders on the highway to provide fuel economy.

Oh...345 HP and 375 lbs-ft of torque.

Yeah. I know. I already have the wiring, and the hitch waiting for me at the parts department. Should have bought the white one they had that did have the hitch. But I liked the color on the one I bought better.

I also asked if they can do the Line-X. They said they can do it there. time to make an appointment.

I've got a really nice 7x16 with v-nose, ramp back door, three s-tracs on the floor, cabinet, clothes bar, tandem, brakes, . . .

. . . but you may not want to drive to Dallas to get it, and I am not headed west with my truck any time soon.

Could it be...Is it possible

I, CaptJohn, being of sound mind, a busted up body and an unquestioned sense of humor purchased from Shredder, yesterday, the bike that Raffy REALLY wants--Piaggio MP3 is now in my garage!

Hey, don't knock it until you try it--It's an absolute BLAST to ride!

Congrats Capt'n.

Those are fun to ride. Don't forget to lock the front before getting off the scooter. I have seen a demo dropped that way.

If that's the three wheel job, I rode it and it was pretty fun, excellent for knocking around or getting groceries! Congrats!

John, I think Shredder was talking about selling his truck, a very nice Super Duty Ford, but you will pay off the national debt feeding it.

Another K1200LT rider leaves the fold

Hi guys and gals:

Yesterday, BMW of San Francisco bought back my K1200LT from me, and I'm, now, without an LT; BUT I do have my Harley and MP3. At any rate, it seems more of us are riding other makes and models then BMW and K1200LT's.

I guess I'm like the rest of you, now. Saturday, we're going to pay Ted another visit and buy one more MP3 for my wife. We're both enjoying the heck out of riding the scooters!

See you soon!

Ride with Pride,

Capt John

You said they bought back? - Was there something wrong with the LT that couldn't be fixed or just a personal choice?

Enjoy your new scooters.

Uh - Nevermind I just read your dealer experiance......

Too bad - no matter what you own, it's worthless without good dealer support.
