I need to visit A & S Wednesday evening to check on LT damage estimate and pick up some ordered farkles for the GS.
Will meet anyone available for ride to dinner.

So you're saying you would like the dinner to be in the Sac area?

I'll ride/drive (depends on how large the farkles are) up with you Wed afternoon.

I have merged and deleted threads so we have some synergy here. Maybe we should do bike night then dinner?
Next week is our 4 year anniversary (it's actually this week but everyone is out of town or busy) so that would be a good time for Napa or some other nice location.

I moved over the weekend. Back home now. Lot's of little projects. Much cleaning. Many boxes. Overgrown 1/4 acre lot. Lots of stuff to go through still. Too much stuff. George Carlin, where are you? I can't believe I was "to-do list free" the last three years. The words dragged down and anchored come to mind. Will I ever have time to ride again? Is home ownership supposed to be fun? Rewarding? Maybe I'm a condo guy. I have new paint, carpet, blinds and attitude. It was really, really bad after the previous two renters. My 1ksf garage is so full, I envision a week in there. But somehow, I managed tomorrow off so a quick morning of more organization and an afternoon of riding, maybe.

Oh, and I just upgraded my television. What was I thinking? Where have I been? I went from a 10+ year old 32 inch square box to a 57 inch HD DLP 1080P. And I'm a sports fan too. Shame on me.

Kind of a mellow sport bike night. Think they need to bring it back to Sac Town. Had a good time though. The Posse was there in force

Not what I expected, no where to showcase and look at bikes, but always good to see the Posse.
80 to 99 to Lockeford definetly the way to go , home in 65 minutes.
12 toward Fairfield and up was over 90 minutes.
Road the Duc three times, never got out of first gear for a total of 1627 feet.

I'm still shocked that you TRAILERED your bike to Bike Night!!!

I agree about the location. The Hard Rock in Sac was MUCH better,,,

Trailer really works nice and tows like a dream at any speed.

Expect to be SHOCKED again in the future.

In Doug's defense. If I owned that bike I couldn't ride it at all. It would be on a podium in the living room LOL

That bike is special. Several people stopped and looked at it from all angles checking out the mods. Even that PYT in fine corinthian leather pants.

It was great meeting you all!

It was the first time I'd ridden the R1200S. The boxer engine made the weight distribution feel really funny compared to my bike and I was scared on the on/off ramps - I'm thinkin' my job is pretty much gone if I crash it. I rode them like a snail - sorry. But the bike was so smoooooth - the road between Roseville and Vacaville is complete crap and usually my teeth are rattled out of my head, but I barely felt a bump. The controls are WACKY - I couldn't get a feel for them so I used hand signals.

I want to ride the K1200S, next!!!!
