Laughlin

Well folks, I'm back from my first Laughlin trip. A little over 1200 miles in 4 days. We rode straight through coming home, 550 miles.

Plenty to see and do, found some good riding roads in the area, even if they all had DUI checkpoints across them. Heavy traffic enforcement, had cops on hills with binoculars and radar guns, interesting setup. Kept everybody behaving though.

The vendors definitely had the same idea as far as marketing goes... Girls in not much clothing. Worked for me.

Had a great time at Kingman HD shop party, nicely promoted event. Great band.

Some pictures here: www.halsinger.com/laughlin/

On the whole trip though, I kept seeing trail roads
where I thought to myself, "Now that would be fun on the GS!..."
