Help needed

I'll buy dinner...

Need to defarkelize the trailer tonight. Buyer driving up from Tuscon, AZ to pick it up tomorrow.

I need to remove:

the wheel chocks and the mounting hardware (can leave hardware if I get no help)

all the tiedowns and associated items

the supplies in the cabinets

I also need to run a 110v wire from the land line panel to the external outlet.

If anyone can help, please let me know.

TIA,
Raffy

You can bring it over here and hook it up.

We have a big yard you can pull into, and power you can hook up to.

I don't have alot of time during the day to help, but later....

I meant install romex from the trailer's internal panel to the trailer's outside outlet. That way the outside outlets are powered. We had to cut the wires when modifying the trailer and never got around to run a new line.

OK, that is more clear. You can still do it here if you want, lighted space.

I'll need to leave work early today. We can start at the yard. Should not take long.

Big Thank You

To John for coming over, putting on the overalls and helping me de-farkelize, pack my stuff and clean up the trailer.

I owe you a dinner.

It took both of us to remove the chocks. Me under the trailer lossening the nuts, while John was holding the screw head in place and/or turning the screw head.

We didn't finish the wiring. Someone forgot to take wire cutters and wire nuts along. But we did stub out the wire into the trailer all the way to the panel as well as the cut wire.

Whatever parasite that was draining the batteries is probably non-existent. I did a quick try (1-2 second) on the landing gear switch and it worked without the drained battery sound.

I'll take the jumper cable with me just in case I need to power up the DC motor tomorrow from the truck.

It's going to be interesting to see how the buyer's 3/4 ton truck is going to look when he hooks up the trailer.
