Hey, I will drop by because I want to see Roger's GT, Nathan's Street Glide, and Hal's GS. Also, I am curious to see Bill ride in on his K1200R and his GS!

BTW with all the talk of California starting to do smog checks on motorcycles we all better save those canisters for the test

[B]Thanks for the offer Doug. Another time I would like to take you up on your offer. However, since my post, we've had about 10" of snow. So my bikes once again sit high and dry, and marooned on a pillar of ice. Plus I now have to work Sunday night too. So, ya'll have fun and let me know if another tech session is planned in our area. My expertic is electrical with specialty in German electrical "hazards" and I have some test equipment I can bring. ( would this be chilly w/beans ? ? ?)
Cheers

John (RdcrzR) i know you have a long ride ahead of you, and since you have a 6K to do the lift is yours. If you can get here about 15min. earlier we can get all the plastic off the bike and out of the way before all the others arrive. Also went shopping so a batch of chili & cornbread will be the order of the day. Again soft drinks/coffee and bottled water our provided if you want to bring something else feel free. Until tommorrow drive safe! Rob

Thanks Rob,

mmmm Chili and corn bread. Good stuff! Last time I darkened your doorway, er garage, that was pretty fine fare.

Didn't see your post until just now. I rode up to N Highlands last night and am in a Days' Inn, so as soon as I get breakfeast, I'll ride over.

John

Thanks Rob and Gail. Great hosting as usual. I really appreciated the chili, cornbread and coffee too.

I didn't get a lot done on my GT but feel pretty good about knowing how to tear it down now. Only had one small screw left. I'll find the place for it when I install the Baehr system later.

Also, thanks to all who bought stuff at my LT flea market. I hope you all will be satisfied with your purchases. No refunds. I will list the rest of the stuff this week.

Thanks Rob for the use of your place and your tools. I get the feeling if you don't have it, it doesn't exist! I enjoyed playing Gail's new (to her) piano.

Mr. Flowers, it was so nice of you to exchange my exhaust system for me. As I watched you go about the process I was so impressed by your skills and patience; you only cursed one time . Thanks again, John.

Thanks to

Gail and Rob for hosting another tech session.

A lot of installations, service items, fix its, flea market and good times.

Bill and I managed to install high and low HID kits on his R1200GS. I am impressed by the size of the CQLights HID ballasts. They are 'wafer' thin which makes it easier to find places to hide them.

Let's see... Since Roger's defrkelization of his bike, I have bought back from him a bunch of stuff that I had added to the bike. Sometimes you just can't let go of things.

It was a great day for a bike ride or work on bikes. It was cool driving down the freeway at 80-85 mph indicated with the targa top off the Porsche.

Rob and Gail,
Thanks for the great Chili Lunch and everything.

Beautiful day. Rob and Gail, thanks for the great chili and corn bread; space and support for doing my 6k fluids change plus. With Dell providing the wrench-bending music, then Rob tickling the ivories a couple of times, too. Couldn't be finer.

Roger, your "check's in the mail."

Great to see old friends again, and meet new ones. Summer's almost here and I'll be seeing many on the road at one or more of the upcoming events.
