Hm, that's only 17 miles from the proposed S.a.w.d.o.g. site in Antioch. Maybe you guys should coordinate this one?

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Hotel Del Rio

We went there Saturday night and had the Prime Rib Special. A little pricy, but veryyyyyy good. The place itself is rather nastalgic with the staff about as old as the building. Limited menu with everything deep fried except the Prime Rib.

Unfortunately, however, they only serve dinner on Fri,Sat and Sun. You can order food from the bar, but very limited seating. Not enough room for HDDC or Sawdog and forget trying to fit both groups.

I would recommend the place for a week end dining experience.

The Antioch Grill has more than enough room for both groups if your so inclined to ride a little father west.

We've been quite a few times on Wednesdays but it appears they have changed their Days of operation. They are also closed through the 18th of January so the Hotel Del Rio is out.

If I can clear a late night I wouldn't mind joining the groups in Antioch or Rio Vista areas. Of Course I'm not all to happy about the $4 tolls now in effect this year to get back across that bridge.

I'll go with the majority will of the HDDC - So where do you want to go?

If we take S River Road, we usually meet at the Shell station off Freeport Blvd @ I-5 South.

I'll be heading down a little earlier - To have before dinner.
Probably be on the road by 5:30.

BTW - slight chance that it will start raining by 9pm.

It was like a fall evening at 60 degrees on the River Road, great night for a ride.

The wet pavement at the I 5 onramp surprised me a little, but I don't think I ever saw a single drop of rain before I got home.
