Talking New addition to the household

Not another wing to the house

Not another bike in the stable (well still working on that)

Not another kid (phew...),

But a new dog. Meet Tag, a 2-year old German shorthair pointer. Found him at the SPCA. Poor thing apparently was left outside on a chain all the time. He is calm (unusual for a young GSP) and very sweet.

Good for you! He's as fortunate to have been adopted into a nice family as you are to have found him.

Congrats Raffy,

Gool looking GSP. Don't let his calm demeanor fool you. Once that little guy gets some confidence around you and the new digs he will be full of energy. I love this breed, especially for hunting behind.

Back in my younger days if I had not spent so much money hunting *behind* I could prolly afford a new LT.

Congrats, Raffy! And thanks for rescuing him at the SPCA. There are so many animals out there that need homes; it's great to hear about it when they get one.

You must be a proud poppa; he looks just like you!

Thumbs up Nice pup!!!

Good for you Raffy! My grand-parents used to breed GSPs in France (where they are known as Braque Allemand) as they were hunters themselves. These are amazing and loyal dogs!!!
I can't fathom leaving such a sweet dog chained all day...
But I am sure things will be different for that lucky puppy from now on...

Congrats on the new "Best Friend".
I have always had a dog since I was a few months old (stray showed up just after I did).
Make sure you get a collar with your name and phone number in case she goes exploring.
Bring her over anytime for some country air.

I just got back from Raffy's. Right at home, for sure. Tag was curious and only a little obnoxious. Dog seems adaptive to family life already.

Nice seeing you at A&S, Dell. You looked great today, all considering.
Your attitude is always good. And contagious.

Thank you all. Tag is our second German Shorthair pointer. The first was rescued from the pound. In between we had an English Pointer whose owner passed away and it was returned to the breeder.

Good seeing you Dell and you do look good.
