Local paint shop?

Hi folks,

I was curious if anyone could recommend a local (preferably hiway 50 corridor) paint shop that does a good job on BMW body work... I've got an '04 K1200GT Atlantic Blue with some scrapes on the body and bags from dropping in the driveway once ( ) and then when filling up another time ( )...

I did a quick search but didn't find any threads covering this topic...

Thanks!!

Call up A&S talk with Randy, he used someone local to do a few custom paint jobs that were great. That or maybe Ted H here know the name of the shop.

Thanks John... will do.

Saw Jugs at A&S Friday... definitely a beautiful bike!! If we didn't already have an RT, that would have been a definite acquisition!!

Unfortunately the GT is just too heavy for me, though my husband can handle her fine... but he prefers the RT.

Local Body Shop

Ted and Travis at A&S have both recommended Red Star Auto Works on Auburn Blvd in Sacramento - 916.488.7827 -- www.redstarautoworks.com

Not on the 50 corridor, but they have done some good work for A&S and their customers...as for drops - I gave up trying to catch 'em a few years ago

Good Luck!

Auto Body +++

I use Rowe Autobody for all my paint and body work. Stacey is a biker himself and has always done better than 1st class work for me. He is painting a couple of my R 1150 GS parts as I type this.

Thanks for your inputs, Phil & Casey! We'll check out both Rowe Autobody and Red Star.

I definitely appreciate the recommendations & I'll let you know how it goes.
