No pricing announced yet. Also, I'm hearing that the bikes at the IMS shows are NOT final production units. If that's true, I'm wondering what Kawasaki has up it's sleeve as the final product.

Whatever it is, I hope it has something to do with that "thing" under the right saddlebag!!

There has got to be SOME other shape that works just as well!!!

Muffler design for these displacements and noise regulations pretty much dictates it. Believe me, if the designers could meet the power range requirements AND noise regulations with something smaller, they would. They would be overjoyed if mufflers were not needed at all! Make them smaller and either the sound level or performance will suffer, with some aftermarket pipes on cruisers, BOTH are worse in the quest for fashion. Many of the cruiser pipes are much louder, AND worse performing than stock, with usually a small increase in HP in a very small RPM range, less in most of the range.

I only wish that all the add on aftermarket stuff that appreciably raises the noise level was strictly regulated, and big fines levied for using it. LOUD SUCKS!

I don't want to achieve immortality through my work...I want to achieve it through not dying.
