I thought it would be nice to get both dinner groups together this week by suggesting that we meet somewhere about the equal distance from Sac and Tracy. Seems to me that Lodi is about equal for both groups. So how about we meet at the Lodi Brewery in downtown Lodi? They have great food and a good selection of micro-brews. This is just food for thought. I'm easy and willing to go just about anywhere.

While the idea is a great suggestion, I don't believe Lodi is the Lagrange Point between the two moving bodies.

Yes Bob, but can't you take the Coriolis Effect into consideration?

The fine line

While we do try on occasion to get the two dinner groups together, it is because of the great distance between them each had to travel to make it happen that the second group was formed.

Rides to the extreme east hills on a Wednesday night when most of the western group comes in from working in the Bay Area all day just wasn't feasible. There was still enough interest in meeting for dinner from those who live in the 580/680 corridor, so a second dinner group was formed.

A better meeting point for the two groups is around the Antioch or Rio Vista area. I will try and find a point there for this week and we can see what happens. Suggested eating places are always welcome.

It's not much of a ride, but Logan's Road House is always fun and the food is pretty damn good.

I based my information from google as they show that Sac is 41 miles from Lodi and Tracy is 39 miles. Thats pretty darn close. That does mean riding on the big slab from both locations. Also I just might be stumping for a little business and presence here in Lodi. I'm open to suggestions.

Well, I suppose I could but the correlation then becomes sub-atmospheric versus a relative planetary/satellite system reference. One would have to determine the rotational attitude of the two moving bodies within the atmosphere. Do HDDC and SAWDOG both rotate the same direction due to their northern hemispheric orientation or can one assume because SAWDOG is based south of HDDC that it counter-rotates in the opposite direction? If we accept the latter as axiom, we could predict a static point of calm, non-movement similar to the eye of a hurricane when the leading edges of their respective fronts converge when moving in the same direction. However, the calm would be short-lived eventually resulting in the spontaneous high-speed ejection of the particles within the objects followed by the two masses arching away from each other at equal speed and deflection yet in opposite lateral directions. Despite opposing rotations, during the "calm" one can predict with reasonable certainty the Coriolis rotation will be constant between the two moving bodies resulting in identical mass rotation as fluid seeks lower pressure and loses altitude. Thus, we can assume fluids consumed by the particles of the moving masses will rotate clockwise down their respective throats in direct correlation with the Northern Hemispherical Coriolis Effect. Secondary proof of concept can be obtained by observing the fluid stream evacuation from the individual particles and the specific rotational direction as the full fluid receptable is discharged forcing the evacuated fluid along with its original scent-deadening holding mass to seek lower atmospheric pressure once again creating a clockwise spin as it loses altitude into its darkening black hole.

My head is spinning. Not sure if it's clockwise, counterclockwise or interaparabolic axis.

Did someone suggest a place with beer in the name? I'll go for that and I don't care which direction the water spins when you flush it!

Now you want to look at this from an attitudinal parabolic axis? That would involve the specific axial movements of the particles within the moving masses as governed by their pitch, roll, and yaw presuming, of course, a constant or increasing velocity along with a predisposition to ballistic movement based on Newton's theory of Inertia. It might be fun to theorize this effect on the individual particle fluid evacuation trajectory and range with respect to accurately targeting the center of the fluid mass receptacle.

All theories considered, I should think Antioch is the more accurate Lagrange Point for the favorable convergence of HDDC and SAWDOG.

Well, not many jumping on the bandwagon for Antioch.
Being that it's starting to look a little damp for wednesday night and those who get off work later can't make it that far south by 7PM - Do we want to try something a little closer?
The Lodi suggestion or?

Table set up for 7pm for 8 persons. ( We'll try and hold off until 7:30 to order for the late comers)

Got the table down stairs, Ted said he was 75% + that he was going to make it.

Good times tonight. All the original members of the Posse were there except for Andy and Lanette (we missed you).

Ted, I'll look into archives re the first use of the word Posse. Sometime around may 2003 if I am not mistaken.
