Dang, dropped it!

Hate it when this happens, but hate it even worse when it breaks something.
Right front foot peg snapped off. Can't find one on Ebay and Beemerboneyard is out. Anyone have one sitting around they want to part with. If you are close enough to Tracy/Stockton I'd ride out to meet you. Let me know.
Thanks

Re: Dang, dropped it!

It happens.
Sorry do not have any.
Dropped mine on the left side after hitting some black ice at low speed breaking off the footpeg.
When I picked it up, I slipped and it fell over on the right side and broke that one off also.
They are not cheap, now you know how I know.

Well, if you see some guy riding around on an LT with his right foot on a JPeg, you'll know who it is

Drill out the plate and install a bolt as a temp fix.

Hey Glenn,
Long time no see, I'll look through my spare parts and get back to ya.

If you want to drop by I'm sure we can figure a way to bolt that up.

Re: Dang, dropped it!

Thanks John
Haven't been riding much past year. Got fired up to get back in the saddle and dropped it.
I have the peg lowering kit and I guess it dropped the peg low enough to snap it off when the bike rolled on its side. I have an email alert on file with Beemerboneyard if they get one. Got pissed and tossed the broken one. Thanks for checking your stash. Let me know

Re: Dang, dropped it!

The right driver peg is the hard cat to find. If the bike gets bumped when parked on the side stand or for any other reason the bike performs a stationary high side the peg breaks. Just the little bit of increased velocity it has when it goes over and falls the additional distance going to the right busts it. I KNOW this to be true.

I had my right peg welded by a pro and got excellent service from it. Until I was backing (sitting on the bike and walking it backwards) into a parking spot, my foot slipped on a bit of oil, and it fell over to the right. Busted the damned thing again but not at the weld. Replaced it this time.
