Smile K1300 GT Spline Lube

Thanks much to Art Kester and John Fisher for trekking over to my shop last Thursday to assist with the rear drive spline lube on my 2009 K1300 GT. These guys know their stuff! Many thanks!! While I had the rear wheel off I changed the final drive lube and the drained fluid was clear and without foreign material including no nasty metal filings. My bike's happy!

Another big help was the fine post by Luis Roth (#143775) that appeared in the BMWMOA magazine and is posted on the forum. With his step-by-step approach and great photos it was an easy job. He has offered similar articles about the GT oil change and final drive fluid change. Thanks everybody and Happy New Year.
