Acon\ Bt020

Anyone have the SWMOTO CODE # for both of these tires.
I want to make sure I order the correct pair.

I am tired of bt020 in the front and its "lack of life"

Thanks,

Ian

Ian,
You will like the "avon" front. When you order from SW moto Just let them know you have a LT and they will give you the right tire. They are good about knowing what is right for our BMW bikes.

Cool

It sounds like you're ordering a pair - it's been said in various places before, but if you order two or more tires from SW Moto the shipping is free.

Cool!

Yea I meant Avon!
I did not know about the 2 tires and free shipping. It has been a while since I ordered tires from their.

Now to find a place to mount them. I use to go to my friend at seattle honda, but he has been so busy I do not want to bother him.

Ian,

I am on my 2nd set of Avons - both sets from SWMOTO, but I don't see the proper tire on there!

I'ld drop them an email - they are fairly quick repsonders - and see what happened....

Avon AV45 ST 120/70ZR-17 Front
Avon AV46 160/70VR-17 Rear

My last order (July '06) listed their part numbers as 305190 (front) & 305471 (rear)...

Ok, it looks like the Avon Storm is the replacement for the Avon ST - probably news only to me... http://www.webbikeworld.com/Motorcyc...n-storm-st.htm

Looking at Avons US site (http://www.avon-tyres.co.uk/motorcyc...showtyre&id=25) it looks like they still have a suitable front tire 120/70ZR17 with required 58W load index.

The possible SWMOTO tire is #305562 - but you'll still need to confirm the load rating with them before ordering...

Whoa..got these so dang fast....

I ordered them Monday and got them Wednesday. Put them on today.

Just noticed a trend. It seems as though new tires on my bike have a 0-5 speed wobble. I felt this on my last two new tires. It goes away after 100 or so miles. Is this just me or the universe ?
