Debbie’s New Toy

The lure of adventure was just too great for Deb. When off road, two up riding just didn’t cut it for her. All of the recent off pavement adventures looked like so much fun (and they were) that there just had to be a way to participate.

So here is her solution and I have to admit it is a fun one. All of those years riding sport quads and no experience on a motorcycle made a three wheel rig a natural choice. No instinctive behavior to unlearn, just the need for some additional skills.

Please forgive us for a non-BMW bike, but Debbie points out that it is a modern replica of an old copy of a BMW R71 motorcycle.

Anyway, here is a photo of Debbie’s 2005 Ural Patrol. If you see her on an old country road, wave as you fly by.

Cool

I wondered when you and Debbie were going to blow the cover! Congrats to Debbie. How was the mall parking lot? Death Valley here she comes.

Talking Congrats Debbie!

whoa, I guess we know who'll carrying the tools on the next ride, eh Dan? I like the green color! And, if I'm not mistaken, 2-wheel drive! Just watch those right turns!

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Debbie’s New Toy - UPDATE

UPDATE.......

After a year hiatus, Debbie is back in the saddle. She completed the Evergreen Safety Council Sidecar Course this weekend. This is not an easy class, but Debbie has been practicing and she passed with flying colors. The completion card she received will give her the three wheeled motorcycle endorsement on her license. Go Debbie!

Woo Hoo! Way to go Debbie! Looks like we have a few dry days coming up this week, so take that Ural for a spin or two.

I remember that big ole smile from last year, I bet it was there and then some when you passed your riders test. See ya on the road!!!
