*Some of us Lt'ers in Eastern Wa. are planning on heading out to the Wisconsin BMW Rally in July and are now making plans. We are also planning on attending the WA State BMW Club "Menlo Rally" as we did last year!

Anyone have insight as to a nice route to the Wisconsin BMW rally site??

Excellent!!!

Mike,

The MOA Rally sounds like a real adventure! I can't do it this year, but I'm very envious. I'll be at Menlo, however, look for me in line for oyster shooters! Best of luck on your trip.

Hey Dan/ReelMan,

We did abunch of oysters last year too !! yum....
I think Menlo is one of the very best rallys I have ever attended.
The Washington BMW club really does an outstanding job putting it on.

I was the one who won the field events along with my S/O on our Yellow V-Strom! This year I will be competing on my 05 LT

Now I know I must go this year! Just seeing an LT in the field events is worth the trip. I was there in 2005, but missed last year (I was there for the GS Rally a few weeks later).

I am bringing my folding chair and setting up a cheering section.

Hey top,
Whats this crap inviting only LTers? The rest of the BMW's not good enough? I had to give that Italian guy a lot of money at menlo to take a fall so you could win with that V-strom thingy. I will most likely do Menlo again. I really want to do the moa also, Just need to find time for it. I'll know as we get closer.

OK Brian, you can go with us but you have to depart from your boat a day after we depart from Spokane. That way, we can meet in Eastern Montana at the same time!

I think I may have a chance to keep up with you guys, Although I seem to have trouble keeping up with that Meese guy in the twisties. The Ohlins have been sold to a nice NW LT"R. He cashed in on the free installation I offered. Thanks anyway.

One of these days we'll have to go riding when it's not raining, or dark. Then we'll see what that GT of yours can really do.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...
