Red face Now I lay me down to sleep....

I could've sworn I heard the big girl whispering that in my garage as she just sort of slowly layed over on her right side on the garage floor!

I was just trying to move her over a bit to get at something behind her. Since I was in slippers (!) I decided to pull her off the centerstand from the left side. Don't know why, but when I tried to pull her towards me, she started pulling me towards her (must be my handsome good looks). Held on for about a second, then thought "What am I doing? I know I can't stop this" and let her down. Slight scuff on the tipover bar cover and rear trim. I consider it a badge of honor!

Now comes the good part: I spent the July 4th holiday in the hospital, having a stint put into one of my major heart arteries. Doctor says no lifting over 20 lbs for awhile. Hmmm. Well, it's been 5 days since the procedure, time to test out the newly improved ticker! Walked her upright with absolutely no problem whatsoever. Felt so good about it, I took her out for a ride and got home 1 minute before the sky opened up.

I dont' feel bad. My buddy just layed his Road Glide over a few days ago. Got off and forgot about putting down the kickstand. DOH!

WOW! You sure are full of gumption to put her back on her feet again so soon after the operation! I'm not sure, but I think the 'ol LT weighs a little more than 20lbs! Good to hear you're feeling so good, so soon!

Glad both you & the big girl weathered the incident well. Just a curiosity, but by any chance did the wife say something along the lines of "What were you thinking?!?! Get back in the house until the Dr. gives you the ok!"
