Additional Lighting suggestions?

On my commute from work at midnight during a thunderstorm. I realized that additional riding lites are needed. It was hard to see the road ahead..so, low and slow, but I made it home..(Wet)..

I'm interested in something that will brighten up things and give me more than needed visibility.. any suggestions? Cost is not an issue S/O will be paying for them ( haha)..

Thanks in advance

Re: Additional Lighting suggestions?

I have a pair of PIAA's on my bike. It lights up the road nicely!

I'm contemplating on getting an HID setup as well. I'm sure if you search the forums here, you'll find lots of info on lighting.

I have a set of PIAA 1100X with the EZ mount brackets that I'm looking to sell if you are interested in them.
Just took them off today as part of a major de-farkling in preparation to send the old girl off to greener pastures.

+1 on the HID! Best mod I've done that was under $100.00 and only took an hour. Turned that candle you have on the front into one mighty bright light yet does not upset the on-coming traffic. A whiter light and somehow penetrates darkness like nothing else.

Re: Additional Lighting suggestions?

I have HID lights both for the low beam and high beam.

At the same time, I have 2 sets of PIAA 1100X on the bike.

1 set hangs on the plastic near the forks and the other set close to the radiator and the plastic.

Amazing light at night....Probably too much to handle if I am behind you at night ... without even using the high beam.

Thanks,
Spiros

PIAA"s under the cowling,
Moto lights on the front brake calipers,
and upgrade the low beam to HID, (that way you can still flash the hi beam)
