Laconia Day Trip?

The Mrs & I are thinking about a day trip to Laconia on Saturday June 20. Mapquest puts the trip at 3 hours 42 minutes (which in my experience should be closer to 3 hrs or 3:15) from the woods of West Greenwich (all slab). If we head out around 6 am, we should be there by 10 am then head back mid-afternoon (3 or 4 pm) and be home by 7 or 8 pm.

It's been many years since I've been to Bike Week in Laconia and it'll be interesting seeing the different bikes, vendors, and what-not.

Anybody interested in going?

Re: Laconia Day Trip?

We normally go up that Saturday, but this year we are not going.

I will be going up to the Hill climbs on the 17th, and going up Mt Washington on the 18th (the mountain is only open to bikes that day). I also have the 19th off, haven't decided what I am doing. The 20th I'm going deep sea fishing with dad and brother.

If you hit Weirs at 10:00 am, you can plan on spending an hour in traffic if the weather is good. We usuallty try to be up there by 9:00 at the latest.
