Black Friday Ride

Headed out for a little this afternoon. Will probably hit the V Bean at some point. Maybe I will see some of you out.

Hooked up my gerbings liner and looked at the final yellow leaves on the trees before they fall. 40 degrees and windy bright sunshine.
What is the V bean ?

Brisk Ride.

Not a bad day for riding. A little windy and after 2 hours on the road I was home and warm. Temp never got above 36 degrees. I never made it to the V BEan. BTW, the V Bean is the Vanilla Bean in Pomfret, CT. It usually is a great place to meet other riders.

I was out on Thanksgiving morning with temps in the 50s at the time. Very nice, and no jacket liner required. I did see quite a few cruisers out with various types of soft thermal headgear. I think they might be pretty good at absorbing the blood after a fall...

I waved to them all, and they all waved back, so peace was observed throughout the NorthEast!
