Thanks guys...this was a last minute request and I had to dash off before I had your valuable advice....
What I did in the end was get off at Clark's Summit, ran up 6/11 to Tunkhannock and took the 29 north. This was pretty good, nice and swooping, but had the worst double yellow's I've ever seen. Don't travel this unless you are willing to jump double yellows. Then took the 167..now thats a real road, well worth finding and so I can see your advice is pretty solid. I may try the rest of your routes on the way back if I don't run across to Montreal.
Thanks again Chuck....sorry to miss you, I would have enjoyed a spirited ride. Oh and Jerome, the 6 is too crowded for me. With a low speed limit, lots of traffic, I've found on the 3-4 times I've been on it that I just can't find enough clear spots to get a decent ride.
