Gengras Bmw Grand Opening April 28 & 29

Gengras will give away a 2006 K1200R at their Grand Opening on April 28 and 29. In case you are not on the old Canton mailing list, they are also giving 15% off of parts, accessories and clothing that weekend. www.gengras.com
The cycle give away is with Rock 102.1 out of Springfield www.rock102.com. If you like phone contests, you could be one of the 102 key winners, that might open a lock box, with the "R" key. Ducati & Triumph will be open as well.

Canton Cycles ?

I bought my 2000 at Canton Cycles when I was still living in CT. Haven't been back in a long time but I did recently get a mailing that suggested they were out of the BMW business.

So this Gengras outfit is the new BMW dealership in the region?
Harleys, Buells and BMWs. I hope they do well with it.

Skip Gengras has about a million different car dealerships, a Harley and Buell dealership, and, most recently, a "European Sports" (or some such name) division that has Ducati and Triumph (in one salesroom) and BMW (in its own salesroom). The website sucks and needs to get updated, but the BMW division seems to be quite good. I've been there 4 - 5 times, once for service (new rear wheel) and the other times for parts. It has taken the parts department guys awhile to get up to speed on the BMWs, but they are learning, are not defensive, and are easy to work with. The service manager, Don, used to be the service manager at Canton Cycles, and is very good. I wish I could be there for the open house, but will be out of the country. Would someone please win the free bike for me?

Don was the service manager at Canton when I got my 2000 there. I liked him, good guy. That's a plus for the new Gengras BMW.

In this month edition of INC magazine there is an ad selling a Harley dealer in Hartford with sales of 2.1 Million. I wonder if he is tired of the HArley Business or smells a nice profit.
