I have to also agree.

Get the DVD from John Z.

I got mine at CCR 2009 and have been doing my own brake flushes since then on my 2005 LT.

Great video makes anyone feel like a pro!!

The brake fluid in the wheel circuits should be replaced every year, that in the ABS modulator control circuit every two years. It is a somewhat laborious task especially the first time round, but I doubt the dealer can do a better quality flush as you put it. The computer cannot cycle any valves as far as I know, all it allows is a bleed test which really is only a test of the integrity of the system to determine possible leaks. If I'm mistaken I'm sure someone will correct me shortly.

Intergrated ABS Flush Advise Needed

I am a new LT owner (less than a year) Thanks to this forum I have learned a lot to say the least about my LT.
I know I need to flush the brake fluid once a year. My dealer quoted me right at $200.00 to do the brake flush on my 2006 LT.
I know I can do this myself, BUT, is the way the dealer does it a better quality of flush? I understand they use a computer and can cycle all the valves etc.
I was thinking maybe alternate years doing it myself and having the dealer do it.
It will be two years and 5,000 miles come June since it was done last. It was done by a dealer but it sat on the show room floor for about a year before I bought it.
I know there is a wealth of knowledge on this forum and I would like to tap into it. Thanks in advance.
