Re: Hitch question

Yes, I agree, for the look and ease of rear tire changes, the Dauntless is tops. I may make a removeable Bushtec/Dauntless combo before I'm finished.
I have several ideas in process.

Re: Hitch question

I like the Dauntless as well. When finished pulling the trailer you can pull the ball mount and no one would know you even have a hitch on the bike.

Re: Hitch question

I agree, I like the load points much better on the Bushtec. I have a welder, tubing and time ,but not so much money.

Re: Hitch question

The Bushtec hitch also connects direct to the main frame, not the tubular sub-frame that the others do. The tongue weight load is on the sub frame but the bulk of the pull/push (yes it pushes under hard braking) load is direct to the main frame. Best in my opinion as a GVW for a Turbo +2 is 350 lbs..

Re: Hitch question

Bushtech hitches are $300 new directly from them, cheapest hitch price I have seen for any motorcycle.

Hitch question

I have recently gotten a Bushtec Turbo 2 trailer at an excellent price, but now need to figure out a hitch. I hate to pay more for a hitch than a trailer, so I am curently looking for a hitch to "measure" , if you will.
Anyone have a hitch not installed at this time who would be willing to loan it out??? I will gladly pay shipping both ways, if someone is interested. Bushtec, Dauntless, Custom Chrome, virturally ANY style would be good for me.(ah....Bushtec preferred) I will return the hitch in the condition exactly as I recieved it.
I've will also gladly provide any other info needed if anyone is interested. Thanks !
