Derek:

If you'd like a complete set of screws, this is a good source:

http://www.murphskits.com/catalog/pr...products_id=62

I've used this site before and they are among the best in service.

Re: Screws & Clips

Try the website bikebolts.com

I bought a bunch of those rubber grommets that hold
on the tupperware.

I also bought some extra screws and some of those
spring clip fasteners used up around the stingray (radio).

Re: Screws & Clips

Here are the nuts:

LT plug-in rubber nut M5 BMW p/n 46632347012
LT clip-on nut (speed nut) BMW p/n 52532308647 or 52537658638

For the M5 screws, look through the parts fiche - different numbers depending on the required length. Get extras...

To find parts, these are the fiches:

http://www.maxbmwmotorcycles.com/fiche/fiche.asp
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/select.do

You can order the parts from Max, above, or from Bob's (www.bmwbobs.com).

Chicago is a good source as well for small miscellaneous parts that you know the part numbers for, but the delivery is usually several weeks:
www.chicagobmwmotorcycle.com

Good luck!

Edit: just noticed your location. The above sources may ship to IRL; if not, check the local dealer - alt least you'll know the part numbers.

Screws & Clips

Hi Guy`s
Got the bike back together but instead of having spare parts over I am short 3 screws & 3 clips for the tubberware. I am assuming the last person who took her apart lost them
( Thats my story anyway ). Does anyone know where I can lay my hands on these screws & clips, I have tried the local autoparts with no joy.
As you might recall from my post "Went a bit mad" I just started to strip some of the tubberware to see what was behind it and ended up doing the following:
1.-Upgraded the throttle cables
2.-Fitted Quick Disconnects to fuel lines
3.-Fitted HID low beam from XenonDepot
4.-Removed front speaker covers and resprayed
5.-Lub gear change ball joints
6.-Removed side stand and resprayed
This could become contagious now that I know how to take her apart.
Anyway if anybody could help out with the screws & clips I would appricate it
