murray | One more pic. Note the heavy construction of the lift. Note how grungy I look after pulling the clutch. Those BMW techs earn there money working on these beasts. |

CarSalesman | Can you rig it up to run on compressed air? I've seen some of the foot pedal type that took a *lot* of pedaling. |

I compared its looks and construction to a couple of other brands and with my untrained eye I really couldn't justify the extra expense. I think a lot of folks are just in that "you get what you pay for" frame of mind. Personally, I've had a lot of those "I didn't get what I paid for" transactions. Time will tell. Gene |

Went And Bought It Well, after searching and searching for any documented failures of the Harbor Freight Motorcycle Lift Stand I went ahead and bought it. It was on sale for $299.00 and I received a 20% off coupon in the mail so it was only $240.00. Other than a "I heard about", if anyone could point me in the direction of an actual failure of any sort I sure sould appreciate the link to read about it myself. If not, then after I use it for the first couple of times I will give a full report back. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=91764 Gene |
