BruceHarrisJr Hi Pete, best wishes and good luck on your ride. There will be another LT rider, Jim Bain of North Myrtle Beach, SC, riding with you and others on the Rally. Jim is a big ole fellow and rides an '02 Black LT.

Have fun and ride safe!

Now Joe, if I responded to every thread that I had any vague sort of experience with or interest in with some trivial yet flippant comment, I'd have as many posts as you.

You'll be missed at CCR, but I'm sure you won't be forgotten.

And to keep on topic, my GPS has just gone flaky right before a long trip so I've been scrambling for a replacement. Had I gotten a second unit previously it would have been merely a minor inconvenience.

Thanks Bill,The seat is a Rick Mayer.I had to modify the seat myself to get rid of the Hot Spots ( Ischemia ) . The problem with most seat builders is the salad bowl contours of the seat. On the outer portion of the seat the seat contours your butt way to much reducing circulation.
I removed the foam on the lateral aspect to reduce contact and make it narrow and improve freedom of movement..

With both Coni and Don out of it this year, you and George are our LT hopefuls. Would love to see an LT make a good showing once.

Because it looks good,,All joking aside the main reason. Well GPS 1 is used for the complete route, time management baseline. GPS 2 is used for point to point navigation and via point manipulation etc etc. Plus it serves as a back up,Do not want to resort to paper maps.

John the motive was to lose 35 pounds of dead weight and reduce the top heavy feel of the stock trunk.
The jessey box weighs 5 lbs and has more room , although smaller in size.

I think he added a fuel cell directly in front of the GS trunk for extended range.
