|DentalFlossTycoon||My retreat from the city is a 37 foot Montana fifth-wheel trailer I have parked on a beach at a nearby lake. Last weekend I was sitting on my deck having some cold beers watching the dental floss walk by. No snow up here!|

Wud have thought you would go with "Nanook, NO NO. Don't eat the yellow snow."
Cause you ain't in Montana.

Lastly, I would add that in '05 all of these different "models" went out the window. And IIRC, our '05 model year is called the '04 for you folks way up north where there surely isn't any dental floss being grown currently.
(At least you didn't quote "He's So Gay" in your sig line. Some of these 'way too PC' guys woulda freaked out!)

|tarheel_rider||Tim's got the basic differences as I understand them. There was also an "elite" version that added GPS and comm package in the more recent years. I also believe (but could be corrected on this point) that if you are talking new LTs, they are no longer offered in these configurations, and all LTs have the "elite" package although they don't call it that - with various dealer options to add on top of it. At any rate, don't be afraid to ask the dealer. I find asking a bunch of stupid questions is usually educational and keeps me from making bad assumptions on my guesses or misinformation from other sources. If it is important to you, ask away, any good dealer (or sales rep) will be happy to answer the questions and get you comfortable. So, used (through 04) will have different trim lines and different values as a result (check KBB.com or nada.com to get a value understanding). New won't use that terminology, so it doesn't matter.|

George, depending on the year, models changed (for the 1200 LT) from Standard (S), Icon (I), and Custom (C). Standard is the base model in the early years. Icon added the onboard computer and heated grips( I believe) and the custom added the chrome package, CD changer and and heated seats. There may be more or less but I think that is basically it. I'm sure someone will pipe up if this is incorrect.
The highline model was on the K1100LT's .

Hello to All!
I am currently in the market for an LT and have noticed various descriptions such as Icon and Highline. Would someone please explain what the differences are to a BMW newby so I don't look like a complete idiot when talking to the dealer?
Thanks in advance,
