Re: Zumo mount

I have the 550 and like it, but it does have a small screen so mounting it close to you on the bars helps, unless you have the eyesight of a hawk, I don't think dash mounting would be your best option.

If you are a serious GPS user, I would keep what you have and install it on a ram mount where it can be easily seen.

I am a casual user and went with the 660 installed in the dash, but it is hard to see, most of the time!

You could be right. I don't know which one the guy had, but I think it's worth asking the dealer if it can be installed before buying a new one...

I've seen someone who had it done.

Zumo mount

Hey all;

I'm will be buying the new GTL soon. couple questions.
I have had a ZUMO 550 for years and works great.
Is it really worth it to get the NAV5 or just mount my 550?
I really like the XM radio on the screen. I know its part of the GTL now.
What mount can I use for the 550?
I have two mounts (RAM) that i use on LT and my GS.
Thoughts.
