Greetings from Texas

Hello everyone,

New member here. Just getting back to the bike after a 12 year absence. Recently retired LEO ( 16 years on Motors - Harley FXRP- Kawasaki 1000-P- Honda ST1300-P).

Re ignited the riding passion and purchased a 2016 R1200GS about a month ago. I knew that there was something missing after riding the GS,,, my love for the RT.

Long story made short,,,I hope to be a " new" to me owner of a white 2017 R1200RT next week. Looking forward to the interaction of all the knowledgeable members on the Forum. Thank you in advance.

Re: Greetings from Texas

Welcome aboard. I rode a ST 1300 a few years back. Been a BMW guy since 2011. Just got a 18 RT back in November. Enjoy your new ride.

Re: Greetings from Texas

Greetings, AB. I'm up in OKC, come down to Texas to ride quite a bit around Texas Hill country. Have had BMWs for several years, before that I was all over the board with Hondas, Suzukis, lol. Our local BMW group rides to Texas locations now and then and I live running out to Amarillo with friends and having lunch at the Big Texan, what part of Texas?
