Greetings from Nashville!

Good morning! New to the forum, just a quick intro.
I've been riding for 40+ years, currently own 4 bikes, 92 Yamaha FJ1200, 98 Moto Guzzi California, 66 Honda CL77, and recently purchased a 99 K1200LT that I just couldn't pass up.
Very familiar with the K-bikes; rode an '85 K100RS for years (I was actually president of the Nashville BMW club for a couple of years in the late '90s) so the LT didn't completely frighten me, even though the previous owner let it sit for two years. After replacing the most corroded fuel pump I've ever seen (see pic attached), the bike fired right up and is currently undergoing the transition back to road-worthiness. The forum here has already been a great help, and I appreciate the efforts of all involved.
I spend a lot of time in the East Tennessee/North Carolina/Georgia areas; I'm trying to get the LT ready for an extended trip in October.
Thanks again for the add and I'm looking forward to the interaction. BTW-Great site; really tons of useful info here!

Welcome to the forum Fred from Sugar Hill, GA. That is one nasty looking pump assembly. Glad you have it running again and if you have been around BMW's for awhile, you may already know about the brake lines that need immediate replacement if they are still original issue.

Yeah, I had already read about them, and the rear one is leaking at the joint. Got a set of braided stainless ones on the way.
Thanks for the heads up though!
