New to Me K1200LT Rig

After doing several Iron Butt rides on a '94 Goldwing sidecar rig, sold it to buy a '99 BMW K1200LT sidecar rig. Very similar bike capabilities, but different rides. The BMW sits you more upright with less wind protection. The Goldwing was more of a pig to handle in a parking lot.

Too bad you can't readily mount a car tire on the Beemer. Or can you?

I appreciate all of the information everyone has posted here as I scan it for applicable info for sidecars. Am looking forward to finding all the little nuggets of wisdom passed on from experienced LT riders.

Welcome to the forum. Some have gone to the "dark side", and put car tires on the (rear) LT. Just search the Forums, and you'll find...

Thank you Halizee, sorry for the delay, learning the ins and outs of this forum is not too bad, but remembering the check in for new posts is a learning curve.
