Another new guy

New to this site, new to K1200LTE's, but not new to motocycles. I have been on hiatus for several years however, looking forward to learning from you guru's on what I have to look forward to with this bike. Mine is an 03 LTE with 13k on the clock, my friend is to ill to ride anymore and wanted it to go to a good home, so here I am. I was fortunate on the ride home to encounter the fact that this still had the plastic quick disconnects in the fuel lines like my aprillia RST 1000 did. Time to order the good ones after it marked its spot in my garage peeing fuel all over as I pulled in. Gus

Welcome Cornfed from Sugar Hill, GA.

Please take a few minutes to fill out your profile a little more so people know where you are and if you are close enough to either ride or assist or be assisted in service issues.

I see your have Illinois tags so that helps a little.

Re: Another new guy

Hi Gordon,

Sorry, I'm iffy on putting info out (due to security issues in past job). I did however put my general area (Southwest Il near Scott AFB, east of St. Louis) I suppose with time I may loosen up a bit... If any one is on I64 and in that general area, I would be happy to assist with anything I could. Miss the southeast, was in Charleston (AFB) for 9 years, hope to head back that way at some point.

Welcome from Kennesaw GA!

No one here wants your exact location. City level is close enough. If there's cause to meet up you can exchange info via PM. Enjoy the ride!
