Hello from San Francisco

Hi everyone,

I got a 2006 RT about 8 months ago, love it!
Looking forward to some group rides and a new slip on exhaust.
This is my first BMW, previous bikes where 79 xs650, 84 CB650 Nighthawk, 89 Hawk GT NT650, 01 Yamaha FZ1 and I loved them all. Even the XS650 with points.
Thanks,
Fernando.

Welcome from Kennesaw GA!

You'll love the RT. It eats curves like candy and is still great on a long ride. Don't let the LT guys in on the secret though.

Welcome from Sugar Hill GA.

Don't listen to Whiskey. There is room for both in a garage.

Re: Hello from San Francisco

Thanks for the warm welcome, yes so far I am loving the bike. We'll be doing a ride along the coast with the boss at home soon, first time doing a trip with the wife; we'll see how much she complains.
Thanks for letting me know about the Monterey rally, I'll look it up.
So far I added the accelerator module and the shifter extender, great additions.
