New member from Europe

Hi there,

Since 2014 I'm cruising on my k1200LT (1999) in the Netherlands. I'm totally in love with the bike, although it is top-heavy on low speed...

Welcome Remon. Nice LT and it sounds like you are enjoying it. Lots of good information is available here if you want to service or repair your bike yourself. Stop by often and say Hi.

Re: New member from Europe

Thanks John! I love to work on my LT, the thread about the ABS-reset helped me big time after I installed new Spiegler-brakelines.

I made a new connection on the connector, port 21 it was I believe. The brakelines had to be replaced after I blew one in the front on a roadtrip in Germany:
(after 3:00).

I'm also on the Dutch k1200lt.nl forum and the bmwk.nl forum active. I only have to find one in Germany, to complete all the info there is to find on the K1200LT on the web :-)

Re: New member from Europe

Welcome to the forum Remon. Just did Spieglers myself 2 weeks ago after blowing my second original line. These LT's are in a class all by themselves. I just wish I could find more time to ride mine.
