Welcome! '07 RT is a good year!!!
1. Register with BMW to let them know that you now own this bike, so that you will get all the notifications. You can check with them, at the same time, if your bike have had all the recall works done. This is the e-mail address that I had used: [email protected]
2. Some of the more important recall work includes replacing the fuel-pump flange, and very recently replacing the rear wheel flange. Those will be done by your local dealer at no costs.
3. Be aware that there is a letter that had been sent out to all RT owners with "fuel strip" as fuel level sensor, that tells you the fuel strip will be replaced for free for 12 years, when it fail. Mine never did, but you will find a lot of reported failures without looking too hard! You should ask for that letter, for your file, while you are contacting BMW!
