Camping in Southern MO

I'll be In the Northern AR / Southern MO area on may 27th/28th. I'm going to head north on HWY 7/123/ then use 74 and get back to north in 7, then into southern MO. Any camping suggestions for that area?

Re: Camping in Southern MO

You are more that welcome to camp in my yard (several acres) in So. Mo. It is save place and you will have a ton of room to camp and the views are wonderful.

I can help with any of your needs and If you don't mind a big black lab that will want you to give him all the attention he can get and perhaps a grandchild or two checking you out you are most welcome and we are in the direction of your travel.

Give me a pm or email so I can give you directions.

Re: Camping in Southern MO

Just had a thought (that's dangerous) There is a camping place on a river just off Hwy 71/49 about 15 miles north of the Arkansas state line in Mo. I will ride over tomorrow and find out more of the details like the off ramp name\number etc. and let you know.

Re: Camping in Southern MO

I think you right Ron Roaring River State Park would be the closest for them. Good job!

Re: Camping in Southern MO

Thank you Steve! I really appreciate it. I'm not sure if I'll be close enough for it to make sense. I will keep it in mind, and let you know if I'll be in your area. Roaring River SP is definitely more convenient. What about Table Rock SP?
Any routes I shouldn't miss on my ride north to Wisconsin on the 28th?

Re: Camping in Southern MO

If you get the urge for a motel room, try the Cruise Inn at Kimberling City just southwest of Branson. Older place but clean and very cycle friendly.
