If you ever get up in Michigan there are a bunch of nice roads as well. If you get to the UP it is even better. If passing through Holland look me up and we can do some riding up here.

Only a few hours away near Lafayette. A lot of flat straight between us but not a bad ride and some good eating places between for eat and greets.

Well you have 2 more LT drivers in Lafayette !! jlakin and I do a lot of riding all over.. So when we actually plan a ride, I will try to let you know and perhaps a meet and eat to the north of here.. we also do most all the maintenance on the bikes from tires to electrical, and all the normal maintenance as well !! So a spring or even winter session may be in order !

I like the sounds of that. I have family in Lafayette, and I went to Purdue myself. (I'm an Engineer)

Re: New LT rider, Elkhart, IN

I'd enjoy that for sure. I can't wait for some nice mid 70's weather. Hopefully the snow storm that is going to hit here tomorrow isn't too bad.

Re: New LT rider, Elkhart, IN

I was through Elkhart a couple weeks ago. I got a 2002 this past June and love it. It's 33 degrees in Kalamazoo and I think I'm gonna put some woolies on and take a ride in a few. We'll get together in the spring and just cruise & enjoy!
