looking to do a 12k service Indiana

I'm looking to do a 12k service on my 2002 LT and find an oil leak that was left to me after a service in Ft. Wayne. I live in Marion and am willing to travel 60 or so miles. Anyone up for it?

Re: looking to do a 12k service Indiana

I from Lafayette, and would love to help you out. The only trouble is I am leaving the weekend after next, and won't be available until at least the last weekend of September. My friend (billd on this site) is from Lafayette too, and he is usually up to something like this too. He and I do all our own maintence together. We have a lift, a GS 911 code reader, a No Mar tire changer, and most any tool needed to do a service. If you can hold off till a little later, I would be glad to lend a hand.

Re: looking to do a 12k service Indiana

I'm in the middle of fixing an oil leak on the 2002 I bought in march, stripped valve cover bolt is my issue, the reason I mention it is the 12k service done on the bike last was done in Ft. Wayne as well by the previous owner... Coincidence? I'd be interested to hear where your leak is when you find it. I'd offer to help, but timing is poor for me right now, I've had to spread my own fix over three weeks now, not to mention I'm still pretty green on the LT myself.
