There's not a lot. I live in central Iowa and Gina's is 120 miles away. I've heard good things about Gina's. There's BAK, Omaha and Van Wall, where I bought the bike. Thing is, I don't think Van Wall is fully certified as their mechanics are still testing. It took them couple days to figure out how to get the tumbler back in the topcase that came with the bike. I actually forwarded an article I found on BMW Sport Touring. Nice enough folks, but they need to get a little more serious about BMW. I could have done it quicker myself...

Tell me about it. Here in Chicago, with about 8 million people, we have Chicago BMW, Barrington Motorwerks, and Moto works Chicago. (BMW certified mechanics but not a dealer)

There is one of BMW's oldest dealers in the Midwest. Located in Southern Minnesota. They are called Judson Cycle BMW. Lake Crystal, Minnesota. Great shop..Great Mechanics...Mom & Pop shop.

Re: Any Iowans here?

I probably should do a quad state run to see all the BMW dealers. I've heard good things about Gina's and Chicago, but nothing about any others.

Re: Any Iowans here?

I just moved from Iowa City to DC (not by choice!). I always used Gina's when I was there. It's a family atmosphere. I met several people who would ride several hours there just to get a service done. Not only are Gina and Julius great people, but hey, you get to ride! I wish I was back in IA now.

Take it from an Ex-pat NYer, it's always a choince, just not the one we'd like.
