Re: Falling Leaf anyone?

Thinking about it! Kinda depends on the weather forecast for that weekend.

Anyone else going?

Group of three from Topeka unless the weather goes bad.

I'm too old for the cold.

Then again it was 40 degrees this morning riding to work.

Re: Falling Leaf anyone?

I'm planning on riding the GS this year. Cold?? Last time I was attended the Frozen Leaf in 2006 it was 25 on Saturday morning. One of the great things about this rally, in addition to the anvil shoot, is the free firewood.

Re: Falling Leaf anyone?

The AR club usually camps at the foot of the hill on the north east side of the camp ground close to the fence. Maybe we will try to be in that general area? PM for cell phone #'s.

Unhappy Re: Falling Leaf anyone?

Missouri, central Illinois and Indiana are really getting drenched today and looks like most of the day Friday. Flood warnings, etc. Falling Leaf is out for me anyway.

Disappointing!

I went into WI, north of Darlington, today. Took 8 hours. Dang cold. 34 was the lowest reading I noticed today. Nice and toasty in the Gerbings, but they don't cover everything. Turned out to be a nice day after the snow showers passed.

Enjoy while ya can,
Jer

Re: Falling Leaf anyone?

Yes I bailed also. Ended up in New Glarus for 4 days of riding and binge drinking with my Harley club.
